Videophone | Orange

This may seem like a journey back in time, but worthwhile and memorable:

UK telecommunication service provider Orange contracted Cambridge Consultants Ltd for the product definition, industrial design, hardware engineering and soft tooling of a first-of-its-kind portable videophone based entirely upon hardware components readily available at the close of the twentieth century - roughly a decade before launch of the first iPhone.

I worked with one other industrial designer on the product's overall configuration and assisted two mechanical engineers during implementation and tooling. Click on images to view.
